Select Catering Solutions was established in 1980 and is a privately-owned family business with more than 40 years of experience supplying the catering and hospitality industry.

From the beginning, our focus has been on building strong, long-lasting customer relationships through quality products, competitive pricing and dependable service. Today, those same principles continue to shape everything we do as Select UK.

 

A New Chapter For Select Catering Solutions

In 2026, Select Catering Solutions entered a new chapter as we began trading as Select UK.

The new name reflects the continued development of our business and our ambition to provide a modern, nationwide supply solution for the catering and hospitality industry. While our trading name and brand have evolved, we remain the same privately-owned family business, with no change to our ownership, management or business structure.

Select UK is the new trading name of Select Catering Solutions, bringing together the same people, experience, products and customer service under a new identity.

As part of this change, we have also launched our new website at selectuk.com, providing an improved online experience and making it easier for customers across the UK to access our extensive product range, services and expertise.

 

Location

Based in the Midlands, on the outskirts of Market Harborough, we have great access to Leicester, Northampton, Rutland, Coventry, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Derby and surrounding areas.

We deliver to these areas on set dates each week with our own vehicle fleet, with a minimum order value of £50.00.

 

Distribution across the UK

As Select UK, we also offer fantastic value for money next working day delivery across the UK outside of our own vehicle delivery zones.

Orders are distributed via our chosen courier, APC, and operate at a minimum order value of £100.00. Orders must be placed before 2pm for next working day delivery. Read more here.

Account Management and Service

We believe that strong relationships drive excellent customer service, which is why we have dedicated sales contacts for our customer accounts.

Our telesales team, area sales managers and national account managers have extensive product knowledge and experience across the catering and hospitality industry, helping to guide you from enquiry through to order and beyond.

Coffee Equipment and Sister Company; Carrara Coffee Roasters

We understand that having the right equipment is crucial to the success of any catering operation. We have trusted partnerships with many leading coffee machine manufacturers, including La Marzocco, La Spaziale, Victoria Arduino, Mahlkönig, Bunn and WMF.

We also have our own team of engineers who provide full-service maintenance on our range of equipment.

Alongside Select UK, we are also home to our sister company, Carrara Coffee Roasters. Based at our Market Harborough site, Carrara is our in-house specialty coffee roastery, sourcing high-quality green coffees to roast as blends and single origins.

From sourcing through to roasting, the process is all about attention to detail, taking the time and care needed to bring out the natural characteristics of each coffee.

 

BRCGS Accreditation 

Quality and food safety are fundamental to our business. Our sister company, Carrara Coffee Roasters, has achieved BRCGS Food Safety and Traded Goods Grade A accreditation, recognising the high standards maintained across its food safety and operational processes.

The accreditation provides assurance that Carrara operates to rigorous, internationally recognised standards, with a strong focus on food safety, product quality, traceability and operational control.

As a packaging distributor, we recognise the responsibility we have to help our customers make more sustainable choices. We continue to develop our range of environmentally responsible products while working with suppliers to understand the materials, manufacturing processes and end-of-life options available.
